"In My Dreams"

I constantly love to challenge myself with my illustrations. I love fantasy art, I love everything about it, the mystical element, the colours, the shapes. You can get as creative as you want and get away with it. This piece took me quite a while, but it is now one of my favorite pieces. I enjoyed every single minute of creating this illustration.

About the artist
We were approached by Fire and Light Studio, to create a logo that reflected there work and medium. On top of that they wanted an abstract look to their business card.

About the Artist

Caroline M. Vuyadinov was born in East Grand Rapids, Michigan in 1967 and grew up in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

She earned a B.A. from Beloit College in 1990, where she studied art history and studio arts. She also studied art at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Caroline earned a M. Div. from St. Vladimir's Orthodox Theological Seminary in Crestwood, N.Y. in 1995.

Our Crazy Family

We have often been told we have far too many animals. Well that is probably true, the thing that makes our family a bit more interesting is the baggage that our animals carry. I guess this is what happens when you "rescue" half your animals.

There is Abby our black and white cat, who is bi-polar, loves you one minute is biting you the next, Lucky the white cat who was living in someone's car in the middle of winter. She hates everything and everyone, but loves me. Then there are our crazy birds, one hates life and the other one is constantly signing Beethoven's Symphony and cat calling at anyone who will listen. Gizmo is likely the life of the party. Half pug, half Jack Russell and hell on wheels. He thinks hes in charge and most of the time he is.

So, I thought it was about time to depict our crazy little family. What better way to say I love you on Valentines Day!
